GMS has been a puzzle for me. Despite great fundamentals the share price behaves unpredictably. I have bought and sold twice without a profit. There appears to be the potential of a huge share-sale overhang and this may explain the stale price movement. Last Thursday a poster on the Comments page of Stockopedia referred to the warrants outstanding. I am not qualified to comment but perhaps this is another complicating factor. I could not find reference to these in the company accounts on the relevant GMS Stockopedia page but perhaps more expert eyes can determine their presence and evaluate their effect.
Thanks Cockney. The volumes on many shares have been abysmal leading to gyrations in prices especially downwards all probably due to the spectre of the forthcoming budget. What a way for the government to treat businesses and investors. I am 95% in cash ready to pick up the bargains.
Who knows with CMCX or anything - Labour could do anything
Need to wait and see - likely investors banking profits wherever they have any at the moment.
well done, no bad idea
Thanks Rebel
Like Jas I’ve converted 65% to cash. Just not feeling too comfortable until the Middle East shows some clarity
CMCX had really good figures but some suggestions the budget could tax their sector?
