Thanks Richard. Friday doesn’t feel like Friday without the astute observations on the psychology of the markets, the acute charting observations and the attention to novel share ideas.
Thanks Richard, really enjoyed reading your thoughts. You are right, so hard to prioritise what to invest in with so many bargains. It feels like we are moving into a ( short term? ) phase where some investors are tending to hold on rather than take fast profits and bring the price back down. Christie Group is a good example of late.
I agree, as confidence grows, investors are will to hold longer for more. I dare say there's a lot of small caps out there that bought now and held onto for a few years will pay out handsomely, it is just having the discipline to hold and not get spooked into taking profits, and knowing what to buy and hold. I lack enough discipline to think in years!
Thanks Richard, another excellent update. I’m enjoying even more than usual as reading on a sunny Sunday morning on my hotel balcony in Italy 🇮🇹 - a nice change of scenery from the usual home of Kent. I was aware of the big drop in FTC while awaiting my flight on Friday morning. Glad I ignored it and was delighted to see it had recovered all but 6% drop by the close. Interesting write-up on Coates, I’m going to research this one some more, thanks for the pointer. Have a great week! Ciao!
Thank you Agger. shocks create buying opportunities very often. There are nearly always uncommitted holders of shares such as traders or punters, I've sold out on news if I wasn't committed to certain stocks. Heavy falls are more often buying opportunities when it is related noise though. I kept hold of all my FTC and did by a small few at the lows of the dip, simply because these knee jerks are nearly always very overdone.
Enjoy Italy - it's a tough life but someone has to do it I guess :-)

Great review again
Surprised there is no mention of AVON's promotion to the FTSE 250.
Thanks to your pointer I did my own research and am currently up nicely
Sorry, never thought to mention Avon's move up, skipped my mind, should attract mid cap funds though.
Enjoyable and well-written as usual. Thank you and good luck for the week ahead
thanks Jason
Hi Rebel are you in GMS (Gulf Marine Services) at all, if you don't mind me asking?
No, nice bowl though!
