that sounds pretty reasonable as a plan. I just don't think I'd be able to gauge the currency and the rate cut decision and timing so I tend to stick with what I know and am best at.

Good luck

Thanks again CR. For continuing sound info. Which is making me a nice profit in stocks I probably wouldn’t even have noticed

Hi,

Yes, FCH is really interesting. I value the stock with the US just closing down and anything they get for it covering costs. What I never put in the blog is that they have been awarded a 7(a) banking license in the US by the SBA (Small Business Administration). This is a rare award to go on the Government's 7a Loan Programme.

I think this could be very valuable to other lenders acquiring FCH. There's a bit of ooo arr from some US politicians but FCH is a leader here and the 7(a) award could me a lot of small businesses getting a lot more loans faster. and they look like they'll get to sell it. Dunno what that would be worth to a US co but the entire thing may be better than 1 times sales, by some way possibly. D.Bank's target of £2.50 doesn't look outrageous imo.

W7L looks a real class act, I expect the trading update in a month's time will be very good and Bazini will demonstrate why him selling shares doesn't mean negativity imo.

I'm doing an interview with Paul Hill on Vox, early June that I am looking forward to.

All the best

Richard

Thanks for this. Synthomer looks like it should fly. One question tho, you say the Directors are buying but I only see a couple of small purchases in Oct 23. Am I missing something?

As informative and enjoyable as ever - thank you. Andy

Thanks again Richard. I found your insights on funding circle holdings interesting . Your back of a fag packet notes makes for a very compelling investment case.

I just watched the W7L trading update video you posted a link to in the week. I’ve held them

Since late 22 and really have confidence in the management style. I was surprised to hear how much they don’t spend on needless advertising and how much they grow organically. Was also surprised how much more potential they have to grow within the markets they already exist in. Seems like a quality product . I reckon there is a lot more space for continued growth, I reckon.

I’ll top up if the share dips in the

Next couple of months. Do you have any interviews planned with anyone in the near future? I really enjoyed your last ones with vox markets and Paul’s Scott .

Thanks again. The race towards small co value is something that Bloomberg TV were speaking of last week. I suspect the same will apply here. Thinking of switching some of my 30% US exposure to Small CO UK (where i already have 30% mainly in FTSE 250), but tempted to see what £/$ does in the next few months. That may make the US more attractive for slightly longer if UK reduces rates sooner than are expected in the US

Thanks again Rebel for the effort you put in and attention to detail which is greatly appreciated. Another fabulous week and even better that the previous one.

Interesting re THG

THG would be a good investment if we're not for the fact the CEO is in my opinion one of the worst CEO's currently in charge of a UK listed business. By all my means trade it, but don't look to hold it

That was exactly my point!
